Do you have the plan to go out and purchase a new stereo and expect 15000 dollar

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

You should be hopeful today to investigate if you have a bargain or if you don’t with the moneylender that offers you a money loan. Inspect to see if the merchant bank who is willing to give you a bank loan is secure. Nowadays you can check over rates of interest quickly and pick up if there are other possible traps you should know about. It doesn’t matter if you live in Cape Coral Florida or in Lorain Ohio a honorable online check up will often a lot of anguish. 7.1 percent interest rate may look so upright but will it stay incessant after you have to riposte your loan. This is the reason why now you need to check over and examine if you can have a loan at a beneficial percent rate of interest. A bank in Carlsbad California or so can have a total completely different actual loan rate for a 32500 dollar money loan then a merchant bank in Hagerstown Maryland and that makes a immense clear gap in your yearly costs. Many of the merchant banks wil show you a rate that is looking secure but doesn’t feel comfortably or so after a period of time.

Free Traffic Course – Day 3

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

This is the 3rd day of “Free Traffic Course”.

This day will be devoted to a very important strategy of getting free targeted web site traffic – link exchange.

Link exchange is a very powerful technique to rise the status for your web site. But before starting to speak about link exchange, several words should be said about PR or page rank of the web site.

The term page rank was introduced to wide online audience by Google – the search engine that enjoys the most popularity with web site users. Today this search engine offers 8,058,044,651 web pages for search. Google is used by online visitors worldwide. Let’s be fair – today Google is the leader among search engines. And catching up with the leader is still a dream for other search engines. That is why everything used by Google is of great importance to web site owner – Google gives targeted traffic.

So, page rank is a kind of status that Google gives to all web sites. Page rank “0″ means the lowest status, no status at all. “10″ is the highest mark. It means users really flood your web site. You can pack traffic in Christmas boxes and send them to children :)

Why is page rank critical for getting targeted visitors? When user makes any search in Google, the search engine “checks” all web sites in its database. The web sites that have bigger page rank for the submitted keyword have bigger chances to get to the very top of found results. Would you like to be among first 10 web sites found for “car insurance”, if your web site is specializing in this business? Surely you would. So, page rank is crucial for your web site.

LOOK HOW LINK EXCHANGE EXPLODES YOUR PAGE RANK.

Google algorithm takes many factors into account to give every web site its page rank. One of them is – how many web sites in your niche have links to your web site. Please remember that links should be from your niche – they must be relevant; the web sites must have the same niche keywords in their meta data and descriptions that your web site has.

If this rule is valid, then page rank magic with link exchange starts working for you. If the web sites (who have links to your web site) have bigger page rank, Google rises the page rank for your web site as well. The more links your web site has on other web sites with high page rank in your niche, the bigger web status you get from Google. The bigger are your chances to get more traffic of targeted users.

This link supporting scheme looks like a cowboy western movie. Picture it: a band has entered the town. They say “Let’s do some shooting.” You are only one with a gun in the hand against the band; the band has dozens of people – they laugh at you. But then a comes your friend with a rifle and says, “Don’t worry. I’ll cover your back.” And then another friend, then a neighbor, his two sons, the guys from the farm. You look behind and see – wow, there about 80 people who took their weapons to fight with you. The band looks for a taxi – their business is over.

The same happens with link exchange. Google has no relation to bandits, of course. But when your web site has a link exchange support from other web sites in your niche, Google awards you with high page rank. This is not a very fast process, but indeed it is guaranteed.

HOW FREE TRAFFIC SYSTEM AUTOMATES YOUR LINK EXCHANGE CAMPAIGN.

Link exchange is not hard: you email to the web site owner in your niche, offer to exchange links – your link is pasted on the web site of directory partner, the link from your partner’s web site to your web site. The links are placed into special directories that are usually named “Links”, “Exchange Links”, “Link Directory” or something similar to it.

But when you do it manually, it takes much time. You need to find a proper web site for link exchange, email its owner, put your link and place the partner’s link, build the category of links, name them, provide description to all links for better optimization to search engines – you see how much work should be done?

Well, you can pay others for this job. But the cheapest price for link exchange would be $200 for 50 links! Come on, why should you pay for it…

WHEN FREE TRAFFIC SYSTEM DOES IT FOR FREE AND ALMOST AUTOMATICALLY?!!

Free Traffic System has a module that is called “Directory”: this module manages all the work for you.

The stages of work with directory in Free Traffic System are simple:

1. Spider (look day 2 of “Free Traffic Course”) automatically finds niche targeted web sites for your link exchange and emails your offer for link exchange to their owners.

2. Directory module fully automates the creation, naming, submitting of description and all other aspects of running a link exchange directory on your web site.

Actually everything is over, now you have the directory. But just have a look at additional benefits that Free Traffic System Directory module gives its users:

- directory can be multilevel with as many categories inside as you wish;

- you can build your directory tree the way you wish (the deeper is the directory system, the better for search engines);

- you can choose an option to name all categories of the directory, using the keywords found by your spider (this is highly appreciated by search engines);

- you can search, edit and add new web sites and categories to your directory;

- you can automatically check if your link exchange partner still has your link on the web site; if not, you partner will get automatic message saying to put the link back;

- you can see detailed statistics about new users, web site, easy selection of statistic display periods;

- you can add AdSense and AdWords;

- edit top, bottom and side columns for the directory;

- the users of your directory can login to their personal directory area and get directory news, use forum and chat (just imagine what a powerful advertising tool you give them, and this will bring you more traffic).

And now breathe for a while and keep it in mind – this is only one module of Free Traffic System. Do you see how much time and money it saves you? Do you see now what is the unlimited power of free targeted web site traffic? And you can see more about the potential of Free Traffic System modules, features and option on the web site: http://www.FreeTrafficSystem.com

Looking for Free Quiz Questions…

Wednesday, September 24th, 2008

I have been creating on line quizzes for a while now and I am in need of some free quiz questions for inspiration. I think that I have hit a wall of sorts and my ideas for questions have dried up a bit. I think that I will take a few quizzes to see if that will get my creative juices flowing. Sometimes it is just about tapping into a quiz topic that you have never delved into before. I am going to break this dry streak of mine and get creative again and start making up even better on line quizzes.

While browsing the internet I came across an idiot quiz. Apparently, I am an idiot because when I answered the questions if any of these “things” had ever happened to me, most of them had. Falling off a chair, tripping over stuff,… Almost everything on the quiz has happened to me at one time or another. I was, however, pleased to see that I am in no way alone in all this. There are plenty of idiots out there and many of them have taken the quiz before me and passed it with flying colors! It is so nice to feel part of the group…

PPC v Natural Search – A Cost Comparison Case Study

Sunday, September 21st, 2008

The attraction of Pay Per Click (PPC) online advertising is undeniable. Each click costs virtually nothing, you only pay for the clicks you get, and you set your own daily budget so you know exactly how much you’re going to spend. Most importantly, your listing appears instantly.

On the other hand, a high ranking in the natural search results seems unobtainable. There’s a perception that hundreds of thousands of other businesses are competing for your keywords, and that makes it seem like a real rat-race. And it also seems like such a big mountain to climb; it’s true that it can take months to reach the first page for your target keywords. To make matters worse, thousands of opportunistic (and some very dodgy) ‘SEO companies’ have emerged, looking to make a quick and big buck out of market naivety. So to CEOs, BDMs, marketing managers, webmasters, and business owners, the road to natural search ranking seems expensive, risky, and beset with traffic.

But does this mean you should forget natural search?

Definitely not!

Firstly, most user studies to date have found that people pay more attention to natural search results because they’re more relevant. That’s the foundation of the success of companies like Google and Yahoo (and the reason they keep their indexing rules a secret).

What’s more, it’s important to put things in perspective. Hundreds of thousands of other businesses may be competing for your keywords, but in most cases, they’re at least as confused and disheartened as you. So the sooner you figure out the real story, the sooner you’ll have the jump on them.

And yes, it can take a while to reach the top, but because your competition is – for the most part – traveling blind, your early progress will normally be quite quick. In fact, for most businesses, it’s not until you reach the top few pages that your progress will slow.

And again yes, there ARE some dodgy SEO companies out there. But there are also some very good ones. (Go to WebProNews.com and sign up to a forum if you want to find out who they are.) So long as you know the basics of SEO you won’t be taken for a ride. (See www.divinewrite.com/SEOCEO.htm for a rundown of SEO basics in layperson’s terms.)

But let’s talk bottom line…

Is it more expensive to obtain a high ranking?

Certainly not! In comparison with other forms of advertising – even PPC in the long run – reaching the top of the rankings is NOT expensive. The following case study explains why.

CASE STUDY

For the past year, I’ve been working hard on the natural search results for my copywriting business, Divine Write. For my primary keyword, I’m now on page 1 of Google.com (out of approximately 900,000 search results). I’ve done this with article PR (simply by writing helpful articles and submitting them for publication on the Internet). Luckily for me, I’m an SEO copywriter, so writing articles is all in a day’s work. But had I paid an SEO copywriter to write my articles for me, I’d have spent approximately USD$5,000.

Over the same period, I spent approximately USD$3,000 on Google AdWords (my ads appeared towards the top of the paid listings).

Now I hear what you’re saying; my natural search campaign definitely cost more in the first year than my AdWords campaign. But now that I’ve reached the top of Google.com, I’ve paused all my AdWords ads, so I’m not paying anything. If I hadn’t chased the natural search results, I’d have continued paying for AdWords, spending at least another USD$3,000 next year on AdWords, and another USD$3,000 the year after that, and so on.

Of course, I have to retain my high ranking. If I was paying someone to write my articles, that would involve an investment of approximately USD$1,000 per year (a saving of 67% each year).

So it breaks down like this:

Google AdWords investment:
2 yrs = $6,000, 3 yrs = $9,000, 4 yrs = $12,000, 5 yrs = $15,000

Natural search investment:
2 yrs = $6,000, 3 yrs = $7,000, 4 yrs = $8,000, 5 yrs = $9,000

Conclusion

Obviously the competition for keywords in the copywriting field isn’t as fierce as in a lot of other industries, so the actual dollar investment discussed in this case study may not apply directly to your business. The important thing to understand is that – over time – a high ranking in the natural search results can actually cost less than a high position in the (arguably less effective) paid listings.

Also, these figures are based on me submitting articles to various article banks on the Internet myself.

8 ways to build a really bad web site for Search Engines

Sunday, September 21st, 2008

Some web sites receive hundreds or thousands of unique visitors a day, whilst others only get a handful or none. The reason is often because the web designers or Webmaster has built the site in one ‘really bad way’ or other. This can end up hindering the potential success of the web site. If you want to make sure your site is not a ‘traffic flop’ then here are some simple rules to follow.

Bad Move 1: Build the site using a frameset.

Framesets may save designers time but are bad news for search engines. They can struggle to follow links into the web site or read text on the page unless you use a no frames tag effectively. In addition to this, if an engine does keep a cache of a site with frames it will often pick up the individual frames/ pages and not the complete frameset. The downside of this is that you may lose your navigation for many of your pages, which is likely to turn visitors off. Whilst one or two partial fixes to framesets are out there, it’s still no wonder that many web site promoters still cry “Please No Frames”. For more information on why framesets can cause problems visit http://www.html-faq.com/htmlframes/

Bad Move 2: Build the site purely in flash.

Flash intros and web sites can be visually stunning, but at the same time they can be rather limiting when it comes to search engines. If your main site is all one flash site it will typically play in just one html page. Some search engines simply can’t read Flash and so your web site to them is just one relatively empty HTML page. If your competitors web site has 15 or 20 pages in HTML talking about their good sand services then they will have a big advantage on you. If you must have a Flash site for graphical reasons then it would be wise to budget for a separate HTML web site to have along side the Flash so your site content can be read and indexed by search engines.

Bad Move 3: Decide that graphics are more important than words

Be careful. As great as some images can be, try not to let designers convince you that you don’t need copy on your web site or that a few lines is enough. Only very occasionally is there ever an excuse to fill your web site with graphics at the expense of text. If the graphics look great, then match them with great copy. Sales copy is important to tell your audience why your goods and services are important. Search engines also like to index plenty of useful copy too. 250-500 words is a sensible starting guide for most pages or of the amount you would place in a brochure. Text copy is important and will always be so make sure web site has some!

Bad Move 4: Leaving out the Meta tags

This is a bad move as Meta Tags are important to search engines. Clear and concise title tags should be written for every page reflecting what it contains. Avoid writing things like ‘Home’ or ‘welcome’ as it’s fairly meaningless. If you page is selling blue widgets then get ‘blue widgets’ in the title and keep the title to 10 words or less.

In addition to this create a well-written objective Meta description for each page, and list your Meta Keywords. These keywords should also reflect the content on your web page. Leaving these 3 things out, or doing them badly can be disastrous. The impact of Meta tags on rankings may vary from engine to engine, but without them your pages could be ignored. Most HTML editors allow you to easily insert Meta Tags into your web page and it only takes a few moments to add to a page. So there are no excuses. Make sure you have good Title tags, Meta Description and Meta Keyword tags on your pages today!

Bad Move 5: Use lots of JavaScript

Search engines have a few problems understanding JavaScript in pages. At the best of time they struggle with it, at worst they may even ignore it. On its own, it can be an unreliable way to make web site navigation. If you must use JavaScript for your navigation make sure you have some alternative ways to get to pages by using HTML text links at the bottom of the page. If you have a large amount of JavaScript think about linking to it as a separate JavaScript file.

Bad Move 6: Don’t have sites linking to yours

Unless you want your web site hidden from the outside world you want to be found right? Well search engines ideally find a new web site by following a link from another site. This happens when people link to you and this kind of underpins the Internet. By having sites link to you search engine crawlers will find your web site and you never need to submit your web site to the likes of Google. It is still the case that web sites that rank highly on Google and Yahoo for relatively competitive key phrases often have scores if not hundreds of web sites linking to them Google help to explain the importance of linking here http://www.google.com/technology/. So “think links” and be sure to get your site listed in some quality web directories as part of the process.

Bad Move 7: Focus on submitting your web site to thousands of search engines and forget the ones that matter

Now and then you will see some companies attempting to promote this idea – often by using Bad Move 8! It is true that there are thousands of search engines but the highest volume of traffic comes from less than 10 major search engines. The logic of “If I get one hit a day off each of the 1000 mini search engines I’ll get a 1000 visitors a day” unfortunately in practice does not ring true. It is a fact that a huge volume of search engine traffic comes from a small handful of search engine: most notably the Google, Yahoo and Msn.

Bad Move 8: Using unsolicited/ Spam email

This may seem obvious that this is not the best way to promote your business but is always worth stating. If you’re in any doubt simply ask yourself: “Do I like getting Spam emails?” It’s common sense to avoid using techniques that annoy people or damage your brand. Using unsolicited email campaigns could result in complaints and at worst your ISP could ban you. If you want a successful email campaign it is advisable to target genuine opted in newsletter subscribers and to always offer an opt-out button in every email.

How to Get Non-Reciprocal Links and Improve Your Page Rank

Monday, September 8th, 2008

Ever since Google began placing importance on its Page Rank system, website owners have been scrambling to get incoming links to their websites, usually through the means of trading links. Incoming links are important in the Page Rank system, because they are seen as “votes” for your site, and the more “votes” you get, the more important your site is considered, and the higher it is placed in Google’s search results. However, if you study the details of the Page Rank system you will find that not all incoming links have the same weight, and that the non-reciprocal links to your site, the one’s you didn’t have to trade for, are given more importance. So, website owners should also spend some time building up these non-reciprocal links. Here are five methods you can use in this effort.

1. Get your site listed in the major directories: The two most important directories at the present moment are Yahoo and the Open Directory Project (www.dmoz.org). Yahoo is the old stalwart of the Internet and despite the rise of Google, the addition of a hefty $299 fee, and changes in the way they display their listings, a link to your site from Yahoo’s main directory (and it’s regional variants) can boost the standing of your website much more than a few links from an obscure website.

The other major directory, the Open Directory Project is free of charge and is edited by volunteers. It is sometimes difficult to get a listing because they scrutinize listings and do not list sites that don’t offer original content. If your site consists only of affiliate links, then the editors will reject your application. In addition the volunteer editors have been unable to keep pace with the amount of sites to be reviewed and they can take months to process your entry. Compounding the problem are technical glitches which sometimes make it difficult to even submit the form. Despite the problems inclusion here is well worth your effort, and you should persist. Inclusion in both Yahoo and the Open Directory Project can mean the difference between a “page one” or a “page five” showing for your site in search results, especially in competitive categories.

2. Get your site listed in directories relevant to your particular product or service: There are many resource directories that serve particular areas of interest. If you offer software that would be helpful to webmasters, for example, then do a search for webmaster resource directories and you will find sites where you can add your URL. Do you have a hotel? Then, find travel directories, and apply to be listed. You will have to spend time, but once again persistence will pay off, not only in improvement of your page rank but listing in specific industry or product oriented directories will bring you targeted trafficpeople particularly interested in what you have to offer.

3. Write articles for Publication on Other Web Sites: There are millions of websites on the web, and many are hungry for quality content. As you have published your own website and have something to offer, that makes you an “expert” in your particular field. Use this expertise to write simple, but useful articles in your field and send these to other webmasters. If they publish your article, they will include your “resource box” with a link back to your site. The link will once again boost your Page Rank, but just as importantly, it will establish you as an authority in your field and will help “brand” your product or service. You don’t have to write to hundreds of webmasters individually to get your article published, go to www.yahoogroups.com and do a search for “Internet Articles Publishing” and you will find many groups that will enable you to reach webmasters looking for articles.

4. Get Your Product or Service Reviewed by other Websites: Have you published an e-book or written software? Then offer a free copy to websites whose themes are similar to yours. If they write and publish a review, then you will get a link back to your site. In addition, you can publish their reviews on your own site, which will add a lot of weight to your own claims about the validity of your product or service. Look around for sites in your field and make your offer. In the process you will also build potentially important alliances.

5. Beef up the Content on Your Own Site: the original concept behind the Page Rank system was to try to highlight the websites that are really valuable, and offer something unique to the Internet. If you publish an Internet version of your company brochure, no one is going to link to you unilaterally. However, if your site is filled with interesting articles, reports, data and reference material then you will get links without even asking for them. You can add content to your site, by writing and publishing your own articles, the same ones that you will offer to other sites, as well as by publishing the articles of others. Once again, the article publishing groups at www.yahoo.com or sites such as www.articlecity.com will provide you with a wealth of material.

If you apply some of these methods you will not only get some high-quality non-reciprocal links but you will also boost the quality of your website in the process.

Preventive Maintenance For Your Bicycle

Friday, September 5th, 2008

Like all mechanical contraptions, your bicycle is vulnerable to wear and tear caused by regular use and exposure to the elements. Routine preventive maintenance will keep your bicycle in peak condition and safe for riding throughout the year. Although some bicycle repair and maintenance is best performed by a qualified bike mechanic, you should be able to do routine maintenance using a few basic tools. Here are some of the things you can do to keep your bike in perfect shape.

Tires

Check the pressure of your tires to make sure they are inflated to proper specifications. Consult the manual or the tire’s sidewall for information on the range of acceptable pressures for your tire. Note any splits or fatigue marks in the sidewall or tread. Inspect the rim for dents, twists or kinks. Spin each wheel to make sure it is true and centered in the stays. If the wheel wobbles from side to side when spun, then it needs truing. Check if some spokes need to be replaced or tightened. If your bike is equipped with quick-release mechanisms, make sure they are securely fastened.

Steering

The handlebars, saddle and pedals must be securely attached. Check the height of the handlebar stem. Make sure that the handlebar stem and seatpost are fastened such that their minimum insertion marks are not exposed. Handlebars should be tight and in line with the front wheel. Check if handlebars and front fork are properly stabilized. You should be able to rotate the handlebar post freely in the front fork. Tighten the bolts that attach the pedal crank-arms to the front bearing. Pedals should be tight, with no binding. Check for looseness in front and headset bearings.

Brakes

Squeeze both brake levers and try to roll the bike to check if the brakes are operating properly. If the bike moves while the brave levers are squeezed or if the brake levers touch the handlebar, then your brakes are too loose and need some adjusting. Make sure brake cables are taut. Check the brake cable for breaks or frayed ends; replace any worn or frayed brake cable. When brakes are applied, the brake pads (shoes) should contact squarely with the rim and should not touch the tire or the spokes.

Chain

Keep your bike’s chain clean and properly lubricated. Use a rag soaked in de-greaser to remove dirt and grease buildup. Lubricate the chain after cleaning. Bike maintenance experts recommend using a web lube in wet environments and a dry lube in dry environments. Make sure that the chain moves smoothly without sticking or jumping.

Tools for basic bicycle maintenance

Proper inspection and maintenance of your bike requires a few basic tools.
